Dr. John M. Ivanoff

Ivanoff, John M., Dr. Dr. John M. Ivanoff, 85, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2012 in Dallas, Texas in the company of his loving family. He was born February 23, 1927 in Post Falls, Idaho, the son of Boycho and Elinka Ivanoff, who was extremely proud of his Bulgarian heritage. His passion for education led him to a fulfilling career at Marquette University. He taught from 1960 to 1995; leaving behind the title of Professor Emeritus. Many successful psychologists, who earned their doctoral degrees under his tutelage and mentoring, are now providing professional mental health and professorial services around the world. Papa John, who is now OBM, is survived by close friends and family, his two children, Natasha of Milwaukee and Paul of Dallas and his loving grandchildren; Melissa, Matthew, Elizabeth, Michael, Catherine, Connor and Casey. A memorial service will be held January 19 from 2-4 at the Regency House located at 929 N Astor in Milwaukee. Please RSVP to [email protected] by January 15.
