Julie Mosher Obituary

Mosher, Julie A. (Nee Zaber) Entered Eternal Life on August 22, 2017, at the age of 73. Resident of Milwaukee; former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Beloved wife and best friend for 50 years of George Mosher. Loving and devoted mother of Karen (Darrin) Wilkinson, Holly Mosher (Ravi) and Robert Mosher. Proud grandmother of Tyler, Daniel, and Kelsey Wilkinson. Dear sister of Mary Kay (Ronald) Shuster, the late J. Thomas (Patricia) Zaber, and the late Susan (David) Bargabus. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Julie was diagnosed with lung disease in 2002 and received a lung transplant in 2008. She fought patiently and carefully to be with her family as long as possible. Julie taught in the Milwaukee Public and Whitefish Bay school districts for several years before becoming Vice President of the family business, National Business Furniture. Julie and George always worked as a team but her main responsibility was to design beautiful catalogs. Julie truly enjoyed her work but her true love and passion was her family, who always came first. She was a member of the Woman's Club of Wisconsin, American Heritage Society, and the Whitefish Bay Garden Club. Julie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will continue to live on in their hearts. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by the celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee. Interment at Forest Home Cemetery. Donations in Julie's name may be made to the lung specialists whose efforts successfully allowed Julie to be with us for almost a decade. University of Wisconsin Lung Research Program, Attn: Dr. Keith Meyer or Kelly Radford, K4/910 Clinical Sciences Center, 600 Highland Ave., Madison, WI 53792 or National Jewish Health, PO Box 5898, Denver, CO 80217-9271

Blessed to have both known and worked with Julie for 10 years at NBF's art department before her diagnosis. Her kindness and generosity of spirit was a role model to me. Julie impacted all of us in that department with her commitment to how art& design could impact a page with its grace and beauty. Wishing you both peace and comfort.

George, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I always was impressed how a husband and wife could not just live together but work together.Your 50 years of marriage really is an example of "walking the talk" and living your wedding vows. You will be in my prayers.
