John, my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your dear Margaret. I worked for you many, many years ago. I never met Margaret, but I will always remember how proud and lovingly you spoke of
her sewing and tailoring
talents and the books that she
wrote.

Words however kind, can't mend one's heartache, but those who care and
share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength,
in the love of family, and in the warm embrace of friends. Deepest Sympathy.

Dear Betsy, What a beautiful tribute and memorial article about your mother in the paper! May her legacy of femininity and refined taste live on in her daughters and grandchildren. Be sure of prayers outpoured for the soul of Margaret and for the consolation of your dad and your family. Love, Caroline Manalo

Dear Genie and Betsy - I don't know if you remember me but I went to High School with you (Genie, I had French class with you and Betsy, you were in my grade). Please accept my sympathy in the passing of your Mother. The older we get, the more we realize all the things our mothers taught us and how hard they worked to make us into the women we are. The article about your Mom showed how her life was a shining example of a woman who loved her family and took pride in taking care of them without losing her sense of self. Her accomplishments were many and varied. I hope all your memories of her bring many smiles as you navigate the new reality of life without her physical presence.

Dear Betsy and family, - Your mom was a talented and wonderful teacher. I once had the pleasure of taking a class with her where I began to understand the mysteries of a "sloper." My condolences to you and your family. Sally Heinritz Miller
