Barbara Ann Eberly Notice
Eberly, Barbara Ann Barbara Eberly passed away on Sunday, January 6. Born to Lee and Ellen (Colston) Tunnell in Port Clinton, Ohio on December 23, 1940. Barbara was 78. Survived by her loving children and their spouses: Christopher (Carol) Eberly, Kimberly Kimpel, and Kerri (Steve) Roberts. Cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren and their spouses: Rachel (Adam) Klestinec, Benjamin (Abbie) Eberly, David (Lauren) Eberly, and Daniel (Haley) Eberly. Treasured great-grandmother to Natalia, Nikolai, Solomon, Eve, Eleanor, Winifred, and two more about to be born. Precious friend, travel companion and dining buddy to Virginia Dietzler and Joan Johnson, who were with her as she began her final journey. Dear sister of Ellen Soper, and beloved favorite aunt of Terrie (Bob) Chrisman. Also beloved by many other dear, dear friends and neighbors. She will be deeply missed. Barb was a long-time member of St Luke's Lutheran Church in Waukesha and was active in and around the community. She loved to travel with her friends and had many happy memories and stories to tell about their adventures. She also enjoyed going out for lunch and dinner with friends. We would often joke that she tried at least 98% of all the restaurants in and around Waukesha and Milwaukee. The family would like to give sincere appreciation and thanks to Oak Hills Terrace and Vitas Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care of Barb in her final days. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at St Luke's Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll Street, Waukesha. Family and Friends Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am. Service starts at 11:00am, and will be followed with a Reception and refreshments to Celebrate Barb's life and impact on all of us. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial gifts to the Juvenile Diabetes Association - Milwaukee Chapter, or to St Luke's Worship Fund, in Barbara's name. Please visit Legacy.com to share any stories, memories, comments or condolences in Barb's Guestbook.
