Harold Kerr Obituary

Kerr, Harold E., D.O. August 1, 2006, Age 96 years, 5 months and 3 days. He wanted credit for all his days. He is survived by Tony DiPiazza, his partner for 47 years, nephews and nieces living in Minnesota and Texas and his many friends. He practiced his medical profession from his office at 84th and Lisbon, from where he made his $2.50 house calls, retiring in 1976. He said he didn't want to live too long or there wouldn't be anyone left to say nice things about him. Well, there are plenty of us here and we all love you and cherish your being you. A grand nephew wrote to Hal, a letter he never got to read, and said "Uncle Hal, I have seen you cry and laugh and joke but one thing I haven't see you do is get angry." He sends his love to all of his friends and former patients. Private services will be held. I met Dr. Hal many years ago here in Milwaukee.. I went to him often and he was such a good doctor and being his friend he never charged me for my visit.. I had much respect and affection for this kind gentleman .. My heartfelt sympathy to Tony and Dr. Hal's family.
