Aaron, Joseph June 7, 2013, age 93 years, of Glendale. Preceded in death by the love of his life and best friend wife Shirley, with whom he shared 65 years of music and life, parents Louis and Sarah Aaron, and siblings Abe (Audrey) Aaron, Dorothy (Issac) Kianovsky, Rose (Aaron) Goldsmith, Lily (Harry) Stein, and Annette (Sid) Cohen. Survived by children; Marlene (Dr. Marvin) Lauwasser, Rick Aaron; sister-in-law Ethel Atinsky; grandchildren, Dr. Melissa (John Yopps) Chudnow, Jenni Chudnow, Marissa and Andrew Aaron, Michael, Aaron, Kelly and Andy Lauwasser; and five great-grandchildren, Sydney, Elena, Zachary, and Benjamin Yopps, and Max, Calvin, and Camryn Lauwasser. Joe was a musical icon and legend throughout the Milwaukee area. He touched the lives of so many with his music, passion, humor, and love of his students and people. Funeral services 1 PM Monday, June 10, 2013 at Congregation Sinai, 8223 N. Port Washington Rd., Fox Point. Interment Second Home Cemetery, 3705 S. 43 St., Milwaukee. Memorials to Milwaukee Jewish Federation, 1360 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee, 53202, Joe Aaron Scholarship Fund, 3271 N. Lake Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53211.
