Kowalski, Joseph Greggory 52. Graduate of Oak Creek High School Class of 1979. Passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Catawba Regional Hospice House in Conover, NC. Joe was born November 28, 1961 in Milwaukee, WI, to the late John P. and Virginia M. Kowalski. In addition to his parents Joe was also preceded in death by his precious puppy "Princess" and a brother Thomas John. Family residing in Greendale, WI, cherishing "Mr. Good Wrench's" memory include his best and dearest friend, closest confidant, and partner in grime and crime, "big sister" Ann Marie "Biscuit" Kowalski and his brother in law William L. "Einstein" Beasley. Family residing in Taylorsville, NC who are mourning his loss include his pets "Ginger" and "Becky", his wife Georgia (Candy), her daughter Jennifer Rudolph and her grand daughter Hollie Spencer. Joe is also survived by his dear son Darren Race (April Ann) Kowalski and their children Vivian Lee and Gavin Kowalski. Joe was a 30 year award winning General Motor's Automotive Service Technician. Throughout his career he received numerous Gold and Platinum Service Awards for demonstrating his knowledge and skill in servicing GM vehicles. Joe's hobbies included collecting and rebuilding Jacobsen Lawn Equipment, model rail roading, go kart and slot car racing, collecting and playing vintage guitars and his most passionate love, anything NASCAR with a GM logo. Funeral Service was held in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Rev Andrew Miller officiated. Joe was remembered at Mass at Gesu Church, Milwaukee, on April 6, 2014 by Rev. Kenneth Herian S.J. Per Joe's request memorials may be submitted to the Wisconsin Jesuit Partner's "Seeds of Faith" program honoring Rev. Kenneth Herian S. J. of Gesu Parish, Milwaukee. The Adam's Funeral Home of Taylorsville, NC served the family.
