I know this was a very long time ago, for some reason the Lord put this on my heart. I was only 20 years old when I began going to his church. A lasting, powerful memory for me, was receiving the Holy Spirit in that church. God bless family and friends

To Mother Parchia and the Parchia children, I want to thank you for sharing your husband and father with us. He loved the church and the saints and we love him still even in his passing. When the pastor at a church my mother went to for over fifty years wouldn't allow us to have her funeral at that church. Bishop stepped up and allowed her funeral to be held at Mt. Zion. I will cherish this memory and Bishop's memory forever.

Dear Parchia Family,
The Bishop was a long-time friend of my father, Edward W. Smyth and a dear family friend to us girls. I know Bishop will be missed by many and was loved by even more of the many people he touched with his faith, wisdom and especially his humor. My father is saddened that he has lost his friend but is comforted in knowing Bishop now resides with God. May you be comforted in that same thought. Celebrate the wonderful life of this husband, father and friend. Peace and blessings be with you all.

To The Parchia Family, The Mt. Zion Church Family, Saints & Friends,

I send sincere thoughts & prayers during this time of transition. Bishop Parchia & my grandmother the late Virginia Chapman (Mother Chapman) were very good friends years ago beginning back in the 50's. My grandmother-in-law the Late Susie Mae Bobbitt was also A good friend & a member of Mt. Zion. I remember Bishop Parchia as a Awesome teacher! I enjoyed how he would elaborate on things & I loved to listen to the stories he used to tell while preaching & teaching. He was also a humorous man.

I am thankful for the Foundation that was Laid, the Doctrine that was Taught & the Pentecostal Experience!

Again my thoughts & prayers are with you at this time of transition.

Blessings to you all!
