Sheila Elizabeth High

1956 - 2014 Notice Condolences
Sheila Elizabeth High Notice
High, Sheila Elizabeth Born September 29, 1956, born to Eternal Life December 18, 2014. Sheila is survived by her sister Adele (Joe Wimmer); and brothers' Dave (Sue), Greg (Judy) and Andy; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She joins her mother Marian and father David. Sheila's schooling was at MATC, UWM and Marian College, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in nursing. This allowed her to carry out her mission of caring for those in need. Her generous, caring nature extended to all she came in contact with. Sheila's love of music began early and lasted her lifetime. From early piano lessons and later guitar, she was able to pursue her passion for singing. The result was stints with the Florentine opera and the Milwaukee Symphony chorus. She also loved singing at weddings. Perhaps most important to Sheila was her family. Any opportunity to gather with loved ones was a great joy to her. Sheila will be deeply missed by many. Visitation will be held at Gesu Church, Milwaukee (1145 W. Wisconsin Ave) on Saturday, December 27 from 9:30AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM, interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Wisconsin Conservatory of Music or the Gesu Choir Fund. Fly with the angels Sheila and boost that heavenly chorus, we love you.
