Carol Mae Slotty

Slotty, Carol Mae (Nee Krueger ) 87, Passed away peacefully Friday May 8, 2015, at Linden Grove Nursing Center, Waukesha. Carol was the daughter of the late Edwin and Clara (Jacobi) Krueger, and grew up in Milwaukee. She attended State Teacher's College and taught at various Milwaukee-area Lutheran grade schools.On July 9, 1949, she married Carl R. Slotty. They lived in Wauwatosa until 2002, and were active members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Carol is survived by daughters Christine (Mike) Short, Sheboygan, and Beth (Doug) Sykora, Waukesha, son Mark Slotty, Milwaukee, 6 grandchildren, brother Charles (Juel) Krueger, Waupaca, sister-in-law Eleanore Rehbein, New Berlin, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, two infant sons, sisters and spouses Pearl and Howard Voigt and Ruby and Fred Renner, and brothers-in-law Eric Slotty and Ehrwald Slotty. Visitation Thurs. May 14 from 10 - 11:30 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 10025 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa with Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran School, Wauwatosa, Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or the charity of your choice.Church and Chapel is assisting the family.
