Witt, Kristine "Kris" (Nee Schnabel) Age 73, of Brookfield, WI passed away peacefully April 4, 2018, after battling cancer. Kris was born in Merrill, WI to the late Donald and Mabel Schnabel. Kristine had six sisters and one brother. She welcomed everyone unconditionally, with a good heart and open ears. Strong willed but never judgmental, she instilled independence yet, the front door was always open and collect calls were all accepted. Preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 50 years, Don L. Witt. Beloved mother of Johanna (Chris) Havelka, Karl (Debbie) Witt, John (Sheila) Witt. Proud, loving grandmother of Hayden, Gabriel, Sage, Flora, Konrad and Nathan. Further survived by many loved family members and dear friends. Always in our hearts, she will truly be missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21, at the funeral home from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service at 3:30 PM. My thoughts and prayers are with you Joey, Carl, John & Families. I will truly miss my friend Kris, she was always kind, loving and sweet. I'm sorry I will not be with you on Saturday, I will be out of the State until Sunday. Many hugs to all of you. Warm blessings, Kim
