Pamela Tedder Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Tedder on October 19, 2018 in Kamloops.

Pam was born in Kamloops on October 15, 1956, and graduated from Kam High in 1974. After spending time in Victoria where she graduated from UVIC, she lived in Prince George, Quesnel and Vancouver working for the Hudson's Bay, Elizabeth Arden, Lancome and Sears. Pam returned to Kamloops in 2002. Kamloops was home.

Pam is predeceased by her father, mother, elder sister Tricia and partner Terry. Many will remember Pam for her charming and outgoing nature. Pam lit up a room the moment she entered. She will be remembered as a sister, aunt, friend who loved to have fun, but who also forever searched for happiness and fulfillment. I'll always remember her spaghetti with the largest meatballs ever ("meat bongs"), her signature chocolate pudding with Oreo cookies and watching old movies.

A celebration of Pam's life will take place in January, 2019 in Kamloops. Details will be appear in an announcement in these pages

Pamela was my cousin who I first met in 1973 when on holiday in Canada with my wife, Isobel, and our year old son, Simon. We stayed with Uncle Ted and Aunt Nancy and had a memorable holiday. We returned to Kamloops around 11 years ago and had a lovely time wth Nancy, Pamela and Terry. We also met Pamela and Terry when they came to Scotland for a family wedding.
I was also saddened to learn that Tricia had also passed away. Nancy was my mother's sister and was a lovely lady. My condolences to Sinclair John and his family.

Thanks to all who sent their best wishes, had a chance to view Pam's farewell, and stopped a minute to reflect on your memories of Pam. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday January 26th at the Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Kamloops from 2-4pm. Look for a notice in the Vancouver and Kamloops papers in early January for any additional details. Again, thanks for all your thoughts.

I had the pleasure of working with Pam first as my AE with Arden and Lancome then side by side when I became AE .
Pam was an amazing coach and mentor but above all her spirit and huge heart made her a wonderful friend .
I hope she has found her peace and Terry and her pets are by her side.
My condolances to her family and friends...she is gone too soon

Sinc, sorry to hear of your Sister's passing. Far too young and such a nice lady. I remember riding to High school with you and her most morning for 3 years. We waited on her a few times, but never held it against her.
Best to you all
Garth

RIP.

She used to come into the store I worked at over the years. Through quick chit chat I've learnt a fair bit about Pam and know her soul is kind. Through our short conversations I learnt her love passed years ago. I hope they are reunited and she is at rest and enjoying her afterlife with him. Rest In Peace Pamela Tedder. I will miss seeing your smiling face.

I am so sorry to hear of Pam's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Pam at Sears. She was a kind woman, with a sense of humor that could catch you off guard.
Her laugh I will remember. Her kindness I will not forget.
