Never got to know the cowboy...nor did I ever shake his hand.
Never got to see him ride...never got to meet the man.
I grew up knowing he was out there....riding broncs throughout the land.
I heard tales and I saw pictures...but I never met the man.
He made his papa smile and he filled his mom with pride...
I know one day I'll meet him...and I'll get to see him ride!

The rodeo world has lost a unique and original person, I always had the upmost respect for Ted. My condolences to his family and friends.

Going to miss seeing you at the Horse Sales. The last place I saw you, glad I did. Say "hi" to mom and dad. Losing you is like losing a big brother. Will always remember you telling me when I was about 13 years old, Della, a young lady shouldn't have hands that look like that. Happy Trails, Ted!

A lot of very good times were had through the seventies at Falkland every year in May with you Ted. Bob ran the calf shutes for you; I made the spaghetti; fond memories from that time. Dee Ferguson
