ANDREWS: It is with a heavy heart that the family of Ronald G. Andrews announces his sudden passing with family at his side on December 11, 2020 at St Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. Born August 22, 1944 in Yorkton to Ruldolph and Dora (Markosky) Andrews. At the age of 2 the family moved from Churchbridge to Togo, SK where he was baptized and confirmed in the Luthern Church. He attended Togo school and participated in many activities including hockey, curling, track and field and baseball. As he grew older he worked along side his dad as partners in Andrews Farm Equipment. March 16,1973 Ron was united in marriage to Kathleen (Gawley). Together they welcomed their first son Robert in 1974 then another son Michael in 1976. He loved them both beyond measure. Enjoying their activities and watching them grow into young men with pride. Ron was an excellent carpenter and spent many hours in his workshop building sheds, picnic tables and lawn furniture that many people have enjoyed. He was a member of BPOE Chapter in Togo and was very active on the Recreation Board volunteering for many activities and events held in Togo. He loved his small town and was always happy to be home after returning from holidays. His happiest times were during family camping trips at Madge Lake and fishing at Lake of the Prairies. Thankful how blessed we were living in the Parkland. He also enjoyed his trips to Mexico and Northern Lakes with friends and family and always looked forward to harvest time watching area farmers combining and in awe of the changes in the diversity of agriculture. His proudest moment was the birth of his grandson Riley and watching his school and football achievements. Left to mourn are his loving wife, his son Michael, daughter-in-law Michelle and grandson Riley, his sister Carla (Mike) Laevens, niece Janna (Mike) Jayden and Jaxon, nephew Brent (Cassie) Jakob, sister-in-law Maureen (Harold) Maksymetz, nephew Chris, niece Catherine (Logan) Trista, Hunter and Maelie, sister-in-law Colleen Bernard, David (Janine) Kieren Desmond and Quinton, along with many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his son Robert, his parents Tip and Dot Andrews, in-laws Dave and Ada Gawley and brother-in-law Robert Bernard. Mourning Glory Saskatoon in care of arrangements. Psalm 91 And I will raise you up on eagle wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn. Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of my hand.
