Frank T. Organski Obituary
Frank T. Organski, 91, of 906 W. Washington St., Bradford, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born Dec. 30, 1926 in Hazelhurst, he was a son of the late Frank and Flora (Murphy) Organski.
On March 2, 1946 in St. Callistus Church in Kane, he married Theresa (Recny) Organski, who survives.
He attended schools in Hazelhurst and Mount Jewett.
In 1944, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served with the Sampsons in the Atlantic and was honorably discharged in 1946.
After his military service, he returned to the area and was employed by Hanley Brick Company for a time and then was a bricklayer for Louis Griffin for 21 years and then worked as a custodian for the Bradford Area School District, from where he retired after many years of service. 
He was a member of St. Bernard Church and the American Legion in Mt. Jewett.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Betty Ann (Kenneth) Coldren of Bradford; two granddaughters, Valerie (Joe) Furman and Tammy (Pete) Everly; four great-grandchildren, Natasha Furman, Anthony Furman, Danielle (Tyler) Switzer and Joelle Owens; three great-great-grandchildren, Braelynn Switzer, Brylee Switzer and Brentlee Switzer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all nine of his sisters and both brothers. 
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank T. Organski will be held Tuesday, Feb. 13 at noon in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant. Mausoleum entombment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 12 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 E. Main St., Bradford, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 11:30 a.m.
