Gamer, Greg 85, retired News Anchor for KSN, passed away Tuesday September 5, 2017. He was born July 31, 1932 in Emporia KS, to Joseph and Helen (Truitt) Gamer. He grew up in the Wichita area where he received his schooling. He later attended Wichita University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Greg later became a news anchor with KSN here in Wichita, and retired in 1989. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Emily Jane Gamer. He is survived by his children, Mark Gamer, Gina (Jay Brown) Gamer-Brown, Erin Gamer; grandchildren, Justin (Melissa) Brown, Cristina (Paul) Owings, Schuyler Brown, Shelby (Kevin) Forness, Chandler Brown; great-grandchildren, Levi Owings, Grayson Owings, Kevin Forness, and Landon Forness. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Rosary 10:30 a.m. and Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017, both at Church of the Resurrection, 4910 N. Woodlawn St., Bel Aire, KS 67226. The family requests NO flowers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to The Lord's Diner, 520 N. Broadway St., Wichita, KS 67214.
