Porter, Harry W., Jr. 85, retired 43 yr. Boeing employee, passed away June 11, 2018. He was born Oct. 14, 1932 in Woburn, MA to Harry Sr. and Marjorie Porter. Harry was a member of Church of the Magdalen and a Navy veteran. Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 60 years, Dorothy; and son, Tom. Survivors include his children, Timothy Porter, Debbie (Bob) Gertner, Todd (Kim) Porter; grandchildren, Heather (Gary) Murray, Renee Thompson, Bryan Porter, Ryan Gertner, Ashley, Alyson, Alexys Porter; 5 great grandchildren. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at Church of the Magdalen. Graveside Service will be following at 1 p.m. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 10603 E. Kellogg Dr., Wichita, KS 67207 or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
