Verna Naylor, the oldest postmaster in the nation and the oldest employee of the U.S. Postal Service, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010. She was 94.

For more than four decades, Naylor ran a one-person post office from her home in Bentonville, Ohio. She took over the position following the death of the former postmaster, her husband.
