DERBY - Delamarter, Thelda Jean (Harvey), age 83, retired Derby English teacher, organist, former Weight Watchers lecturer and piano teacher, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008. She was born in 1924 in Stafford, KS to Guy and Versa Harvey. Thelda retired from teaching in 1995. She played the organ at the church for 40 years and retired from Weight Watchers after many years. She was still teaching piano students in her home. Survivors: three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Ray Lee, Donna and Jim Harris, Janie and Steve Stelljes; grandchildren, Lara Shobe, Scott (Jen) Lee, James (Jamie) Harris, Spencer Stelljes, Jacque (Darran) McEuen; great grandchildren, Rhiannon Shobe, Addison and Isabelle Lee, Max and Jaden Harris. Visitation 10am to 8pm Thursday and Friday with the family present from 5pm to 8pm Friday at Smith Mortuary, 1415 North Rock, Derby; funeral service 10am Saturday at Woodlawn United Methodist Church; graveside will follow at El Paso Cemetery.
