SEDGWICK - Lay, Laura Ellen, 5, beloved precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, June 14, 2010. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Michael and Ronnetta (Butler) Lay, who survive her. She is also survived by her brothers, Brandon, Travis and Joshua Lay; sisters, Rachel, Kristina, Anna and Meslissa Lay, all of the home; grandparents, Ronnie Butler of Okemah, OK, Clinton and Barbara Lay of Wichita; great granny Ellen Faye Lewis and great grandmother Ida Butler, both of Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her Granny Betty Butler. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 18, Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Service 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19, at Countryside Christian Church, 1919 S. Rock Road, Wichita, with Pastor Rich Neu officiating. Graveside following the service at the Sunnydale Park Cemetery, 10357 N Hydraulic, Valley Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Laura Ellen Lay Memorial Scholarship at any Meritrust Credit Union, Wichita.
