Slocum, Bernard William 69, passed away October 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by wife, Geraldine Slocum; parents, John Slocum and Hazel Martin; and infant brother. Bernard is survived by daughter, Elaine (Gary Buller) Slocum; five siblings; grandchildren, Heather (Joe) Ricke and Cheyenne Hill; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Trevor Ricke. A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017, at Emporia Avenue Church of Christ, 1144 S. Emporia, Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kansas Wildlife and Recreation c/o Wildtrust, 512 SE 25th Ave., Pratt, KS 67124-8174.
