I met Susan through NCJW at our national convention a few years ago. She was a true activist who cared deeply about humanity. I am only now learning of this tragedy. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. Her loss will be deeply felt far and wide.

Charles, words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I knew Susan well- I did her nails every Saturday morning for several years. We bonded over our shared views on social equality and activism. She was a remarkable woman who I admired so much for her strength, passion, and determination.
