JAMES DEAN J.D. ROWDEN OCTOBER 27, 1936 - JULY 25, 2017 James Dean (J.D.) Rowden passed away July 25, 2017. J.D. was born in Kansas City, KS in 1936 to Dean and Anna Rowden. J.D. graduated from Wyandotte High School, served in the U.S. Army and was a proud member of IBEW Local #124. J.D. is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beverly (Naylor) Rowden, son Curtis Rowden, daughter Kimberly (Matt) Lynn, and four grandsons: Gage Rowden, Duncan Lynn, Cody Lynn and Cameron Lynn. J.D. is also survived by sister Pauline (Robert) Knittel and many loving nieces and nephews. J.D. was preceded by his parents and two sisters, Betty Cline and Dorothy Neustadt. Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, July 28, with service at 11 a.m. at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd St., Overland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or Johnson County Christmas Bureau.
