Margaret Perry Obituary

Margaret R. Perry, 91, of Gower, MO, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at Gower Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 2, at the Highland Park Funeral Home, 41st & State Avenue, Kansas City, KS; burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to the Central Church of the Nazarene, 12600 W. 87th St., Lenexa, KS. Mrs. Perry was born January 30, 1914, in Kansas City, KS, and was a lifelong resident moving to Gower, MO, in 1996. She was a secretary for Bethal Elementary School in Kansas City, KS, for 15 years. She was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, KS, and was a member of the first graduating class of Washington High School in 1932. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, James Gordon Perry in 1982, and a son, Phillip E. Perry in 1986. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Perry of Smithville, MO, and David G. Perry of Kansas City, MO. Her brother, Kenneth Elkins of Kansas City, KS; and her sister, June Gampher of Lenexa, KS; 12 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
