WESLEY DEAN WORRELL Obituary
Wesley Dean (Wes) Worrell, a longtime Tulsa resident, passed away August 29, 2014 at his home in Olathe, KS. Wes was surrounded by his loved ones including, his wife of 24 years Beverly Anne (Bradshaw) Worrell of Olathe, KS, his daughter Tara and son-in-law Greg Inzerillo of Liberty, MO, and his son Wesley Oliver Worrell of Olathe, KS. In addition to those loved ones, Wes is survived by his daughter Dena and son- in-law Paul Bour, of Bethel Park, PA, grandsons Nicholas and Nathan Inzerillo of Liberty, MO and Paul Andrew Bour of Bethal Park, PA, a sister Rayma Morgan of Tulsa, OK, brothers and sister-in-laws Les and Ruth Worrell and Glen and Jo Worrell both of Tulsa, OK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, friends and family. Wes was born August 28, 1945 in Chapman, KS to Ray and Annie Worrell. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters DA Brimmer, Mary Bardin and Monette Haney. Wes served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1963-1971. He was a 32nd degree Mason and belonged to the Tulsa Chapter 71 Blue Lodge. Wes spent a lifetime in the transportation and trucking industry working for Sun Ray DX, Campbell 66, Manley Truckline, and Worel Cargo. He most recently worked for Koller Enterprises and his own company, WD Worrell and Associates. Wes spent a lifetime caring for others. He was a devout Christian and a devoted husband and father. He put God first in his life, but family was always a close second. He touched our lives with his steadfast faith, his generous spirit, and his tenderhearted concern for not only family and friends but also strangers. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, OK on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Funeral and graveside services will also be held at Floral Haven on September 3, 2014 at 10:00 am.
