LOUISE STUESSI Obituary

Louise Laura Stuessi, Age 94 of Ft. Collins, CO. Louise passed away peacefully June 25, 2014, in the Columbine Hospice facility. She had been a resident of Ft. Collins since 1980 when she and her husband BK Stuessi moved from Prairie Village, Kansas. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, B. Keith Stuessi in 1999. Survived by son Keith (Valerie) of Excelsior, MN, and daughters Janice Stuessi of Victor, ID, and Nancy (Randy) Morgan of Ft. Collins; Grandchildren David (Lucia) Stuessi and Daniel Stuessi of Minneapolis, MN, and Allison and Tyler Morgan of Ft. Collins; And three great- grandchildren Jack, Matt and Maria Stuessi of Minneapolis, MN. Louise Laura Woodrich was born June 11, 1920 and raised on her family's farm in Levasy, MO just east of Kansas City. She was the second oldest of 4 siblings. She went to business school in Kansas City and then to Kansas University. She married BK Stuessi in 1941 and moved to New York City where BK was based flying for TWA during WW II. She spent most of the next 36 years in the Kansas City Area raising her family. Soon after BK retired from TWA they moved to Ft. Collins to be closer to their daughters and young grandchildren who were the delight of their lives. Louise's warmth and compassion and always friendly smile will remain with us forever. Memorials are preferred to the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Collins and to Pathways Hospice of Ft. Collins and can be sent to Allnutt Funeral Home in Ft. Collins.
