Mattie went to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 2014, during a severe asthma attack. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Derek Loux. He is survived by father, John, mother, Tracie, brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Amy, brothers, Taylor and Aiden and sisters, Isabelle, Elia and Emma.
