DEFEO, JR Harry Nicholas DeFeo, Jr. of Kansas City, entered into eternal rest on August 28th, 2016. Harry was born on December 13, 1936 to Harry N. DeFeo, Sr. of Kansas City and Antoinette (Nardillo) DeFeo of Denver. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Jack, his older brother John and his older sister Adele. Harry attended Wentworth Military Academy and College, where he attained the rank of Battalion Commander and lead the school's welcome for President Truman in 1958. After graduating from Wentworth, he joined his father and brothers in the family business, DeFeo Fruit Company, which he successfully lead for many years, becoming a fixture on the City Market. He is survived by his two daughters, Antoinette DeFeo Stone of Ellicott City, Maryland and Margo DeFeo Walker of Kansas City; son-in-law Danny Walker; sister Mary Elaine Cali; grandchildren Katie, Ryan and Michael Stone, Alex Miller- DeFeo and Sophie Walker; as well as many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Harry was a loving and generous father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be remembered and loved by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 10am followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am at St. Therese's Church, 7207 NW Highway 9, Kansas City, 64152. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Cali, Joe F. Ross, Harry James DeFeo, Nick J. DeFeo and Newt Bonino In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to the City Union Mission, 1100 East 11th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64106.
