Tork was one of the best men and fighter pilots at HAHN. I flew on his wing many times. Sad to know you headed West Tork.

MR.Torkelson, CAME INTO OUR LIFE ABOUT 15-20 YEARS A GO.
HE WAS A VERY CARING INDIVIAL AND WAS TRULEY A PERSON WHO WANTS ONE TO SUCESSED IN LIFE.
HE WOULD ALWAY COME TO MANHATTAN TO SEE US. KEEP US POSTED ON WHAT WE SHOULD DO NEXT OR GENTLTY TELL US WHAT WAS OUR NEXT MOVE.
ON THE PERSONAL SIDE HE LOVED HIS FAMILY MOST OF ALL. HE WOUL TELL US STORIES ABOUT THE FAMILY MOST OF ALL ABOUT HIS WIFE. HE WILL BE MISSED. I WILL ALWAYS REMIMBER HIS KINDNSEE.

Very pleased to have known him. My family has been his clients for three generations now and he contributed substantially to our financial well-being and security, just a few of the many hundreds I'm sure he impacted this way. I considered him a friend and always looked forward to his visits where I"d always try to coax some flying stories out of him; whether is was dealing with the weather at Hahn or taking the stick from a student pilot using IFR (Inshallah Flying Rules) he was always good for a yarn. Impossibly humble for a fighter pilot. Between listening to his family's stories at the funeral and what I personally knew of him I couldn't help but think of the film It's a Wonderful Life for how well he lived and all those he positively effected. As the tradition for fighter pilots goes, I threw a nickel on the grass for him at the cemetery. A Great American!
