Mary Anne Bisbee (Shoebrook) passed away at her home Tuesday, May 16, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bill; daughters, Amy Morales (Joe) and Grace Bisbee; granddaughter, Susanna; and brother, John Shoebrook (Rosalina). She is preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Peggy Shoebrook and older sister, Connie Gulley. Mary Anne was born in Kansas City on June 4, 1955, and grew up in the Brookside area, attending St. Peter's Grade School, Hogan High School, Northwest Missouri State and graduated Summa Cum Laude, in Mathematics, from Rockhurst University in 1977. She was immediately hired by Hallmark Cards IT department, became a project manager, where she worked for 33 years until she became medically disabled. Mary Anne was vivacious and warm with a wide group of friends. She was a great mom and was devoted to her parents and siblings. She loved to play sports and was an adamant Royals, Chiefs and Jayhawks fan, never missing a Royals opening day until this year. Once a year, she and her Hallmark "girlfriends" excitedly ventured to an out-of-town Chiefs game. She will be greatly missed by so many. Services will be at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 75th and Main, Kansas City, MO on Monday, May 22, with Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. and Mass at 7 p.m. Burial will be the following morning at Calvary Cemetery.
