He was a great brother. Our mom told me that when I was very young, Davis was out in the field working, and he got thirsty and came in the house to get a drink, he would always see that I had a drink, also; I was only 1 or 2 years old then.
When I came home on leave from the Army, Davis knew I was going to drive my car back to Colo. He took it and rebuilt the engine, before he let me start back to Colo. He loved his service in the Army, and He also love his time width the Sheriffs Dept. He was sad, when he was told that he would have to leave the Sheriffs Dept. and I ask him, but Davis how old are you? His reply was I am 85; what does that have to do with any thing? He was never one to give up...If thy have Policemen in Heaven, Davis will be Chief and everyone's uniform will be clean and nicely pressed. Davis also loved his family, and tried to do anything he could for them. Now he is at home, in Heaven , with Jesse, Mom, Dad, and three of our brothers. We Pray for all the family, as we go through this...Jim and Charline Richardson
