I just learned of Elaine's passing. I was her student teacher in 1981 and because of her, have been teaching for 43 years. This year I am retiring but I wanted you to know how much she impacted my life and the lives of her students.

Just now found out she passed. So sorry to hear this. I worked with her at Johnson School for many years. She was an amazing woman who loved helping the children of the school. My prayers and condolences to her family. RIP

Elaine was a dear and lifelong friend. We have loved each other since the 5th grade at Ashland School. I was calling her on her 78 th birthday when I found her obituary. I am greatly saddened for all of us, and her close ones who will miss her spirit and generosity and wonderful embracing smile, especially her daughter Merritt, her grandchildren, her husband, Cal, and her sisters, all of whom I have known. Elaine participated in several of my fitness classes at Healthworx. She brought so much joy to those around her and was definitely one of my favorites I was so sad to see the news of her passing. Keeping the family in my prayers.
