93 of Brodhead, died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home. She was born at Conway in Rockcastle County, KY on July 31, 1924 the daughter of Willie and Ada Alexander Saylor. She had been a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal Faith. She enjoyed gardening and raising Iris and flowers, reading, quilting, crocheting, and knitting. She is survived by a son, Collin Dennie Bowling and wife Karen of Berea; a daughter, Claudinnia Cash and husband Charlie of Brodhead; a brother, William David Saylor and wife Vessie of Brookville, OH; and three special sisters-in-law, Clara Alcorn and Darlene Bowling, both of Mt. Vernon, and Thelma Bowling of Richmond. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Nicole Stone and husband Anthony, Jordan Bowling and wife Evie, Chuck Cash and wife Sherri, and Curtis Cash and wife Ginger; and ten great grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, and Evan Stone, Blake and Ava Bowling, and Carlee, Sean, Paige, Clay, and Caylee Cash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Bowling; a granddaughter, Jamie Leigh Bowling; a brother, Bill Saylor; four sisters, Lucy Boggs, Elva Northern, Goldie Harrison, and Wona Schuler; and five special sisters-in-law, Jewel Napier, Charity Bryant, Ethel Napier, Anna Strong, and Mary Elam. Funeral services for Mrs. Bowling will be conducted Friday, June 15 at 1:00 PM at the Dowell & Martin Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Shannon Franklin and Dr. Michael Hail.
