Mary Duddy Obituary
DUDDY Mary Ann, 86, widow of John A. Duddy, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Daisy Hill Senior Living Community in Versailles, KY. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the only child of Charles Tyler and Polly Porter Coleman. Mary Ann attended the University of Alabama where she met her husband John A. Duddy, Jr. and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Mary Ann was a loving and dedicated mother of six children. She owned and operated Huntland Farm in Woodford County and she was a dedicated member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church. During these last few years Mary Ann received compassionate care at Daisy Hill Senior Living. Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her six children: Jane Duddy (Lynne Root), Versailles, KY; Jennifer Duddy Gill (Michael), Denver, CO; Mary Tyler Bleisch, Cincinnati, OH; Ann Duddy-Accetta (David), Morris Plains, NJ; John Duddy III (Lucy), New York, NY; Michael Duddy (Elisabeth Martin), Brooklyn, NY; and six grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 am on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Andrew's Anglican Church by Rev. Mark Royster. Burial will follow in Versailles Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Accetta, David Bell, Fred Dearborn, Michael Gill, Phillip Kring, and Tom Riddle. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Cabbage Patch Settlement House, 1413 S.
