Dennis Newman

1928 - 2014

NEWMAN Dennis, 86, went home to be with his wife, Geneva, of 42 years on Sun. He was born in Kellerton, IA, on May 19, 1928 to the late Winnie May Nigh Newman and Guy Newman. He was a WWII veteran. After the military, he made porch swings and maintenance repairs. He did crossword and picture puzzles, baked and enjoyed the Peddler's Mall. He leaves memories to his children: Dennis Wayne Newman, Michael Newman and Patty Roberts, all of Supulpa, OK; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, including Elizabeth Williams of Troy, MT, nephews and sister-in-law. He was cared for and especially loved by his nephew David Bales and caregiver Melody Rex, both of Lexington. They both spent the last few years together with Dennis.
