To Marianne and the rest of the family my heart goes out to you. Robert treated me, Shawn and Joel as close family and he always had a smile on his face. He taught us a lot and will be truly missed. You are in my prayers. He had a BIGGGG Heart.

When you are a kid you don't know who is going to be one of the people in your life who will ultimately make an impact on you and Robert was one of those people. Its been a long time since I have been on a horse, but Robert Murphy taught me more than how to ride. He was a good and kind hearted man with so much integrity. Sending love and prayers to Marianne and family.

I always say my teen years were my happiest.....In LARGE PART because of my days, and show seasons with Robert, Marianne, and all the Lovells. Robert will be missed for sure BUT he lives on in all of us as we were so influenced by the man and horseman that he was.

The world lost a great horseman and friend . I will always think of his legacy as having been the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ever have. What a wonderful family the Murphys are.I am so sorry for your loss. Murph had a wonderful life here on Earth but it was time for him to go "home" and rest and continue to watch over y'all doing the work that he so loved. Take care of each other and God bless you all.
