Dear Hendrix family
I can't remember if I posted on Kevin or Sarah last.
Now the memories will have to come as the Lord brings them to mind.
One came yesterday....one of the members of Open Door Church had his BD. He didn't drive and he received a gift from Sarah and Kevin. They gave him a 3 wheel bicycle. He use it some but I think he was scared to ride it. It shows how loving and giving your parents or Sarah and Kevin were.
If you are in Lex. call me at 859-879-8247 or text me at 859-388-4137. Any of the family!

Hi it's Mindy Morgan again with more memories......
When Fred was about 3 yrs. old Sarah asked me what is it about boys and sticks? My son, Nathan was about 6 or 7. I told Sarah I had enough sticks at the back of my house to build or start a fire. Sarah thought I was joking until she saw the pile of sticks! She said you really do have enough sticks to build a fire.
We have many fond memories with Kevin, Sarah, Lizzie and Fred.

I started on this then it disappeared...sorry! I can't even begin to know what all of you are going thru! I want to put on memories from knowing Sarah and Kevin at Open Door church. There are so many! So, I will put on daily. We wish we hadn't lost contact! We knew Sarah and Kevin at church and my husband Bob had a Bible study at Sarah's. I use to take Benedictine sandwiches for snack (without the green dye!). Kevin loved them! He wanted them for their wedding reception but asked for cucumber sandwiches and that is what he got! He was upset and Sarah said don't be upset on your wedding day. It was a honor for my husband and I to serve communion on their wedding day!
Love and Prayers,
Bob and Mindy Morgan
PS sent a note already-we remember Fred and Lizzie when they were little.

Dr.Sarah Hendrix was a very caring and compassionate teacher and person. I will always remember Dr.Hendrix for her inspiration she's had to me for the past 5 years at Union College. Whenever I heard the news I went into shock, until this very day it seems like a dream, but I know she's in a better place now. Thank you Dr.Hendrix for everything, you helped me so much . Always in my thoughts

Miss you,
