Edith Denison Obituary

DENISON Edith Foster, daughter of the late Robert George Foster and Ruby Houston Foster. Born in Macon, GA on July 27, 1922 and passed on to Glory on July 8, 2016. Resided in Lexington since the age of five. Graduated from Henry Clay High School in 1939. The past three years have been spent with her daughters, Janet and Jo Ann in Florida. Retired from the Cabinet of Human Resources - Division of Social Insurance. A member of Immanuel Baptist Church, along with being an active member of Love Joy Sunday School class and a charter member of the Hallelujah Singers. Former member of Walter Price's Bible study. board member of Hanover Hills Homeowners Association for many years. Survivors are three daughters; Sylvia Denison Lutes in Lexington, Janet Denison Amarante (Albert) in FL, Jo Ann Denison Curnes in FL; Granddaughters; Paige Hoogerheide in Lexington, Cara Edwards in FL; Grandsons; Jeff Lutes in TX, Doug Amarante in FL and Joshua Curnes in FL and six great grandchildren. Sister; Bobbie Dunlap in WY. Predeceased by sister Evelyn Vallette and brothers, Robert Foster Jr., Fred Foster, and John Foster. Graveside services will be 11am Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington. Pallbearers; grandsons and great grandson. Arrangements by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Main St.
