Diane, I can only imagine how tremendous your loss is and will continue to be. My heart hurts for you and with you as I know you still grieve her loss. I felt I knew her through your endearing remarks and close relationship with her. She was so beautiful, apparently inside and out and I know you miss her terribly. May God's mercy and love be extended to you in your sorrow and bring you comfort and peace. I love you Dear Friend and will pray for you to continue with life as I'm sure Dana would want for you.
God Bless, Linda Allen Elrod

I first met Dana when my parents moved to the Lafayette in 2007. What a wonderful, caring person she was and Mom and Dad (Evelyn "Babe") and Bill Delaney, thought the world of her. After Mom and Dad passed away, I met up with Dana a few years later when she worked at the Richmond Place; I met her through the rehab center. It's a long story about how she brought 2 ladies into my life (and the life of a circle of friends) but Dana made a huge impact by doing that. These 2 ladies - Iva Watts and Brenda Richards - became lifelong friends and members of our sewing group. There addition to our group (thanks to Dana) resulted in literally THOUSANDS of pocket prayer quilts, and knitted baby hats and blankets for newborns donated to St. Joe Hospital. Dana probably never knew the impact her kindness had on so many other people. Love and prayers for her family and friends.
