KINSTON - Alice Faye Boswell Thomas, 75, quietly and peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Faye was born June 29, 1942 in Lenoir County to the late James Boswell and Alice Hughes Boswell. Family was the central focal point in Faye's life. She cherished and truly loved her life roles of wife, mother and grandmother. Conversations about her family always brought a bright smile and gleam to her eye. Always humble, Faye cared about everyone who crossed her path during her life journey. Her warm smile and quiet ways endeared her to everyone she came in contact with. Reading brought much pleasure to Faye. The latest book from Nicholas Sparks, or a good historical romance novel were never far away. Her memory shines brightly in our hearts. A graveside service to celebrate Faye's life was held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Faye is survived by her husband, Alton R. Thomas; three children, Billie Kennedy, Renee Thomas, and Rex Thomas and wife Terry; three grandchildren, Jordan Walton, Roger Thomas and Crystal Thomas; and three great-grandchildren.
