Arthur Frank "Art" Redfield Obituary
Arthur Frank "Art" Redfield

Arthur Frank "Art" Redfield, age 91, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 15, 2019. He was born on August 10, 1928, in Bozeman, Montana, to Arthur B. and Dorothy (Asbridge) Redfield. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Virginia Redfield; and a granddaughter, Amanda.

Art was raised in Lakeside, Montana, and was a long-time resident of Bainbridge Island. He served in the navy before attending Montana State University. While at MSU, he met Virginia Martin who would become his wife. After receiving his Bachelor's in Engineering, Art went on to work for Lockheed and retired in 1991 after a thirty-six-year career.

Art loved the Mariners and Sea Hawks. In retirement he took a job as an usher at the Kingdome and then Safeco Field in order to "help manage" the teams. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and coaching youth baseball.

He is survived by his son, Dan Redfield and wife Sherry of Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughter, Gayle of Wisconsin; two brothers, Joe and Rusty Redfield and their families of Lakeside, Montana; grandson, Dan Redfield and fiancé Kristen; and great-granddaughter, Ava Rose.
