Carol Elaine Baird Wood

Carol Elaine Baird, Wood, 84, quietly passed away on December 27th, 2020 at home with her husband Bob by her side.

She loved adventure and travel and was delighted to start up a conversation with all she met. In 1976 she opened the coffee shop the Mariners Mug, where she sold and served gourmet coffees, tea's, hard ice cream and homemade desserts, until 1986. After closing the store, she worked in the office at Hunts Mobile Home, until she retired.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a friend to all.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bob and their Pug Tucker, daughter's Doret/Andy B, Wendy , Sister Debra/Bill D. She also leaves behind her 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren

She is proceeded in death by her parents Willard and Margery Baird, her eldest daughter Sharon, her sister Linda, and 1 great grandson

Thank you, to all who kept her in your thoughts and prayers during her battle with Parkinson, and to those special friends that were always nearby to help along the way.

She will be deeply missed, forever in our hearts and always in our memories

May the Lord keep her in his loving care.

She will be cremated and at her request there will be no services
