July 30, 1954 to May 23, 2018

Allen Williams died on May 23, 2018 at Retsil Veterans Home in Port Orchard, Washington at the age of 63. David was born in Fresno, California to Mildred and Elmer David Williams on July 30, 1954. In 1971, David married MaryEtta Adams and joined the Army. While serving in the Army he was stationed in both Germany and Korea and was honorably discharged in 1974.

After completing his schooling to earn his Bachelor's degree in Theology he returned to Korea with his family, where he worked as a Missionary for 5 years.

Upon returning to the States, he earned his Bachelor's degree in both Theology and English and moved his family to Bremerton, Washington where he served as the pastor for Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. He later went on to get his Doctorate degree in Theology.

In 1991 David had a cardiac arrest and lived the remainder of his life at Retsil Veterans Home. The family is grateful for the care and support the staff at Retsil Veterans home gave David for the many years he lived there.

He is survived by his wife, MaryEtta Adams; his daughters, Michella Williams, RoseEllen Roberts, Melissa Williams and Jeannie Williams and his ten grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer David Williams; sister, Cheryl Hockett and grandson, Gadge Roberts.

A Celebration of His Life will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 3pm at Retsil Veterans Home in the chapel, 1141 Beach Dr., Port Orchard, WA 98366.
