Charlie L. Brown, age 89, of Knoxville, left this world on Saturday, September 15, 2018 to be with our heavenly Father. He was born September 26, 1928 to his late parents William and Lacy Brown. He was retired with over 30 years from Dempster Brothers. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Brown, son Charles "Chucky" Brown, brothers Jay Brown and Junior Brown, and sisters Dorothy Brown and Ruby Brown. He is survived by his sons Lewis A. Brown and Rocky D. Brown, grandchildren: Daniel Collins, Isaiah McBee, Larry Ray Mc Bee, Rocky Jr. Brown, Haley Hill, and Tesla Hill. This was a man well known and loved throughout all of Knox County and his community.
The family will receive friends Monday, September, 17, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at ROSE MORTUARY BROADWAY CHAPEL. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Broadway Chapel. An interment will follow to Asbury Cemetery. Charlie will be missed dearly I have known him for over 40 years He was a real good man !!! No more pain and suffering!!!! He is in heaven now with many other loved ones celebrating his new life !!! Praying for the family !!! Ann Lovell
