Rev. Charles LaVern Glandon age 68 of Lenoir City, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2018. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. LaVern was the pastor of Shepherds Fold Baptist Church in Lenoir City. He was a retired school bus driver with Lenoir City Schools. LaVern was an avid deer hunter and loved to haul fire wood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Novella Glandon; sister, June Reynolds; brothers: Darrell, Larry, Roy Michael Glandon, Sr., and David Lynn Glandon. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Emma Jenkins Glandon; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Kenneth Casteel, Tammy and Kevin Cowan; grandchildren: Rusty (Natalie) Grubb, Dusty Grubb, Adam Baker, Keiley Cowan, and Sarah (Chase) Hayner; great-grandchildren: Jordan and Aletha Grubb, Riley Hayner, Jase Cowan, Emma Grace Williams, Brad and Hunter Howard , along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 18th at Shepherds Fold Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ed Ernest and Rev. Larry Welda officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Wednesday and proceed to the Lakeview Cemetery for 11 a.m. graveside services and
