Condolences to Rev. Ed's family. We were so shocked to hear of his passing as we followed the news during the fire. He married my husband and I in 1991 and this year we celebrated our 25th anniversary. This great man who lived an incredible life is now with his Lord, after serving Him here on earth. Continued prayers of peace and comfort for the family. What a heartbreaking thing to happen. I was happy to hear that Rev. Ed's beloved Bebe survived....we'll make a donation to Pets without Parents in honor of Bebe and in memory of Rev. Ed.

Reverend Dr. Ed Taylor with Jamie and Doug Sharp October 23, 1984
I met Rev Ed when I worked at the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce in the 1980s. He was a good man and I liked him very much. So much, in fact that we had him officiate our wedding on March 23, 1984. We were devastated to learn that this wonderful man of God perished in the Gatlinburg wildfires. I know he is in Heaven and that just makes Heaven even better. God bless you all as you grieve the loss of this fine man.

My husband and I were married by Rev taylor in 2000 and we really enjoyed getting to know him. We took our children back to see him and our little white wedding chapel. Rev Ed welcomed them and took pictures with us like we were family. It was wonderful.I feel blessed to have been in his presence. God bless you all.

So very heartbroke by the news of Rev. EDs passing. Prayers for the family and everyone affected by this horrible news. I'm at a loss for words. My father worked alongside Rev. ED for several years in gatlinburg as an ordained minister. Besides my father Rev. ED was one of the greatest men I ever met. And sadly when my father passed in 2006 i lost touch with rev. And Years later I went back and got back in touch with Rev. ED he never forgot who my father was. Rev. ED was an amazing man! You couldn't ask for a truer person who believed so much and lived in the word of God. I was heartbroke when I learned he went missing then the news of his passing took me straight to tears. May he forever rest in peace. I know he is looking down on us from heaven, and wouldn't want us to be sad. I can remember him with the smile on his face he always had. Such a very sad loss. Prayers! Forever rest in peace.

Rev. Ed married my husband and I on April 30 1988. We are from Granite Falls N.C. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. Rev. Ed was a wonderful man. We thought so very much of him. He is resting in the arms of God. He will be greatly missed. Several times on our anniversary we would go back to the little chapel for Sunday morning service and would visit with Rev. Ed and we so very much enjoyed our visits with him. Once again our prayers and thoughts are with each and every member of the family.
