George W. Wiggins age 90 of Lenoir City passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. G. W. was a member and Deacon at Hensley's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Navy. He was a public service officer for T. V. A. for 35 years and worked in the lawn and garden department at Wal-Mart for 20 years. Preceded in death by his son, James Robert Wiggins; parents, Frank and Mayme Wiggins; sisters, Sylvia, Margaret, Patricia, and Beryl; brothers, R. H., Calvin, Jimmy and Neal Wiggins. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce Pruitt Wiggins; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sharon Wiggins of Lenoir City; granddaughters, Elisabeth Wiggins (Skyler), Jordan O'Dell (Troy); great-grandson, Neyland James and soon to be great-granddaughter, Avery Faith; special niece, Amy Mitchell (Teddy) and her kids, Molly and Aaron; sister, Thelma Noe of Lenoir City; brother and sister-in-law, John and Peggy Wiggins of Elizabethton; sisters-in-law, Hilda Wiggins and Betty Wiggins, Delores Chambers (Troy), Peggy Martin (Woody), Loretta Arthur (Norman); several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 11th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Hensley's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ricky Wiggins and Rev. Tony Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview
