RIMMER, MARY PATRICIA WILBOURN - 53, of Dandridge, passed away early Monday morning, November 11, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following a courageous four-year battle with breast cancer. Born in Memphis on August 10, 1960, Pat moved to Knoxville in 1973 and was a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She was employed by Kimberly-Clark for over two decades and was the recipient of numerous awards for professional excellence. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Rimmer of Dandridge; a sister, Libby Wilbourn Henson of Morehead, Kentucky; nieces, Kate and Rachel Henson; nephew, Chris Henson; and mother-in-law, Rhita Rimmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Doris Wilbourn; brother, Billy Wilbourn; and father-in-law, Robert Rimmer, Sr. A lifelong lover of pets, Pat was dedicated to her Basset Hounds, EJ and Bailey, and cat, Midnight. Pat was a faithful member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church in Knoxville. A memorial service will be held there on Thursday, November 14, at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Richard L. Richter presiding. The family will receive visitors afterwards from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 1615 Price Ave. Knoxville, TN 37920.
