Theresa (Bianchetto) Andler (1925 - 2010)

The Guest Book is expired.

Theresa (Bianchetto) Andler, a life long resident of Cle Elum, passed away at her home on November 11, 2010. She was born March 19, 1925 to parents Frank and Lucia (Zavagnin) Bianchetto. Theresa attended Cle Elum schools and, after high school, worked for the local Pacific Northwest Bell office as a telephone operator.

On April 30, 1949 she married Mike Andler of Roslyn and they made their home in Cle Elum. When the telephone office closed, Theresa continued to work as a store clerk in Cle Elum.

In her early years, she enjoyed hiking and fly fishing in the alpine lakes and streams. In her later years, she enjoyed the outdoors – even for just a walk or a picnic. Theresa thought that Kittitas County was the best place on earth.

Theresa always loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed community activities and Cle Elum High School sports, often with long time friend Irene Kurtz.

Theresa was a life long member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, a long time member of the Cle Elum Eagles Auxiliary, and a member of the UKC Senior Center.

Preceding Theresa in death were her husband Mike, infant daughters Jane and June, and her parents. She is survived by her son Mike (Bridget) of East Wenatchee, grandson Michael (Stephanie) of Yakima, and grandson Joe of Richland. Theresa is also survived by many extended family members.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 18 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cle Elum. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John's on Friday, November 19 at 11:00 AM. Father Lawrence Reilly will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to any organization or charity of the donor's choice. Cascade Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
