William Barker
William Wardell (Bill) Barker, VP Technology at Wilshire Associates, died on March 6, 2018 in Santa Monica, CA from cancer. Bill was born on September 23, 1960 in Cleveland, OH. After graduating from Ellensburg High School with honors, Bill matriculated at Harvard University where he graduated magna cum laude with a BA degree in mathematics in 1982. Bill continued his studies in theoretical mathematics at Cambridge, England, UK before joining Wilshire Associates in 1990.
Bill is mourned by his many friends and colleagues, his loving wife, Maria Ana B. Barker, his mother, Aileen Barker, his sisters Amy Barker and Allison Peckenpaugh, and his nephews Jackson and Jacob Peckenpaugh and Nicolas Moiseyev.

I went to high school with Bill in Ellensburg and I am saddened to hear about his passing. He was one smart guy! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Bill was my colleague for over 20 years.
I knew him as an intelligent, humble and down to earth person and it was a pleasure to have known him.
